Ghost Kitchen Bangladesh (GKB), Bangladesh’s first internet restaurant marketplace, has inked a deal with L’espresso Coffee, an innovative local coffee startup based in the city.
The two entities have inaugurated a commercial kitchen of Ghost Kitchen Bangladesh within a coffee shop of L’espresso Coffee in the urban area of Banani in Dhaka.
Under this agreement, customers dining at L’espresso Coffee will be able to order food from the commercial kitchen of Ghost Kitchen Bangladesh. As of now, Ghost Kitchen is offering its Friggy’s brand to the customers of the coffee shop.
Farina Iqbal, Founder of L’espresso Coffee said,
“So I would say, I am highly picky about food and beverages. I have been training for years to serve the perfect cup of coffee. When I tried GKB products, not only it exceeded my expectations taste wise but while working on the kitchen construction, I am assured of high quality as well. This is a start of an interesting collaboration and first of it’s kind in Bangladesh. But hey! We both are here to change the game.”
Ashraful Hoque Chayon, Operations Director at Ghost Kitchen Bangladesh added,
‘‘We are pleased to announce that those who wanted to have our food with a dine-in service will now get the chance to experience the vibe through this partnership with L’espresso Coffee. Though, as of now only Friggy’s is going to be available, but soon we will launch our other brands as well.’’
Among other officials, Nafiz Iqbal, Co-Founder at L’espresso Coffee, Ashraful Hoque Chayon, Operations Director, and Md Moinul Islam Khan, General Manager of Ghost Kitchen Bangladesh were present at the ceremony.
